Cruse Bereavement Care provide support and counselling to bereaved people through face-to-face and group support sessions. They can provide support to families and work places to help people come to terms with the grief.

Samaritans

The Samaritans provide a 24 hour helpline on 08457 90 90 90 to support those experiencing feelings of depression, despair or distress. They can also be contacted through website.

Lifeline helpline

Lifeline is the Northern Ireland crisis response helpline service for people who are experiencing distress or dispair. They can be called 24 hours a day for free on 0808 808 8000

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS)

SOBS or Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide provide help and support to those coming to terms with the death of a loved one through Suicide. Their national helpline is 0300 111 5065 and they are open every day from 9am to 9pm.

Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Charity (Sands)

Sands operate throughout the UK providing support to anyone affected by the death of a baby, working to improve the care that bereaved parents receive and promoting research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust

The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the body (bodies) of loved one(s) who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland.
